Hi there! I’m Tamieka and I am a Wonoloer. A little background on me. I grew up in a pretty rough area. I’m a mother of one, and I was struggling while relocating back to Sacramento. I’m normally a very positive person and always do my best to see good in all things. However, it was really tough for me when I moved back because I couldn’t find a job quickly to support my family.

I initially heard about Wonolo when I was applying for jobs in Sacramento. I was applying and applying, and either my applications were being ignored or denied. I was drained and discouraged. When my friend told me about Wonolo, she said that no application or resumes were required. When I heard that, I knew I had to give it a shot.

When I first got started working jobs on Wonolo, I fell in love! Each job helped me learn more and I could prove myself while working. The best part was that I didn’t have to worry about an application, resume, or interview. Each job had a list of required skills, and I had the ability to do many of these jobs. Every time I did a Wonolo job, I proved my value through my work ethic. I am a MAJOR advocate for Wonolo and tell all my friends about it! It took me a year to convince my best friend to get on Wonolo. He finally did, and now he has a full-time job that he found working a Wonolo job like me!

I am motivated by my drive! I always want to earn more badges to be able to work more jobs. I love being a Wonolo ambassador to share my experience with others. Now, with my full-time job, I see that my hard work has paid off. I work in an atmosphere that’s family and team-focused, and I got myself here!

In the long run, I want to own my own home and business. My business will focus on photography, clothing, and digital art. Wonolo has given me newfound confidence to go after these goals. I’m making extra money to save. I am making awesome connections with the different businesses I work with, and I get a lot of hands-on learning while on the jobs.

I am a Wonoloer because I choose success. It took me some time, but I found my way through proving my work ethic on different jobs. I now have a full-time job that I found through Wonolo, and still, work Wonolo jobs in the evening. I lead by example, help when I can, and create the life I want.
