Wonolo
My name is Victor and I’m excited to be sharing why I am a Wonoloer. To give a little background of myself, I am from Mexico and moved here with my family last summer. Back in Mexico, I was a mechanical engineering student, but in the U.S. the credits would not transfer so I had to find work elsewhere.
Honestly, it was a struggle when we arrived. It was the middle of the pandemic and I was scrambling to find work. I had applied to a couple of staffing agencies, but those either took too long or the opportunity to work never arrived.
My friend told me about Wonolo and he called it “the future of work.” I checked it out because I really needed the work. I chose a job quickly and got started right away! I love how the app works. First off, I don’t have to pay for it, like I had to with the staffing agencies, and finding work was easy! I’ve tried a variety of different jobs and like it when I can work consistently. Being paid per job is a game-changer too. I don’t have to wait weeks for a paycheck and I can use the funds to provide for my family.
I am a good worker and try hard in everything I do. My goal is to one day work for Wonolo and help people locally find work. I am a Wonoloer because it allows me to work in this country and provide for my family!
