Job Description

This key leadership role will ensure that Wonolo’s demand generation go-to-market strategy is well defined, communicated and executed. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Demand Generation will work closely with inside and field sales, content marketing, PR and other teams to drive the overall demand generation plan by partnering with different marketing functions and the sales organization and grow revenue. This position requires a unique blend of technical, creative, analytic, and project management expertise.

  • Build, manage and report on on-and-offline demand generation processes
  • Design, test and execute progressive nurturing campaigns with marketing automation
  • Determine ongoing improvements to the qualified lead flow and reporting process to ensure leads are correctly qualified, routed and their impact is measured
  • Analyze program performance and marketing attribution, continually optimizing for conversions
  • Develop, measure and monitor sales funnel activity to ensure predictable pipeline building
  • Optimize website and online marketing initiatives, rigorously analyzing the acquisition funnel and working with design to drive conversions
  • Build, manage and maintain Hubspot and Salesforce databases
  • Collaborate across content, social, creative, and events to execute integrated marketing programs
  • Facilitate a strong working relationship with sales
  • Establish and report on campaign metrics, closed loop reporting and ROI


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead nurturing
  • 7+ years of acquisition B2B marketing experience, preferable with a SaaS company and targeting mid-market accounts
  • Deep knowledge in Hubspot and Salesforce with strong analytics capability
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple formats of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, content, CPC, SEO, Social and PR
  • Experience executing lead scoring and nurturing programs
  • Experience with database management functions, including list management, cleansing, de-duplication, data validation, segmentation, tagging, custom report creation and import/export of CRM data
  • Experience with targeting, segmenting and profiling of prospects and customers
  • Experience writing and presenting ROI-driven marketing campaign plans
  • Solid communication skills – both written and oral
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
  • Experience managing at least one direct report
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial and hustle mentality
  • Bachelor’s degree
