What is the Path Forward program?

Wonolo’s Path Forward program is an initiative that draws on research by Zoe Cullen at the Harvard Business School to connect individuals with prior justice system involvement with job opportunities.

Path Forward Wonoloers are willing, ready, and able to work jobs on the Wonolo platform to help provide for their families, communities, and reach their financial goals.

What are the requirements to participate in the Wonolo Path Forward Program?

  • You must first create a Wonolo account and accept at least one job before Wonolo can consider your request to participate in the Path Forward program
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a valid tax identification number (such as a social security number or a business EIN) and a bank account
  • You must have access to a smartphone to start and end your accepted Path Forward job

What do I need to do?

Sign up for Wonolo and work a job. If you are unable to complete the job, simply fill out this form. You will need to enter all required information, complete a Ready to Work phone Session with the Path Forward team, and complete a quick Path Forward Tutorial.

How do I get paid?

You can choose whether you want to be paid directly into a bank account or debit card.

Path Forward Wonoloers receive payment on a per job basis and generally receive payment 1-5 business days after a job is completed and approved. Payments are sent as electronic transfers (direct deposit) and may need additional processing time once your bank receives the funds. Many banks do not process payments during weekends and holidays.

I have completed the Path Forward sign-up form, how do I schedule a ready-to-work session?

Ready to Work Sessions are 30 minute phone calls with the Path Forward team where we go over how the Path Forward program works, complete your Path Forward profile, and answer any questions that you may have. This is a required step to be eligible for the Path Forward program. If you have already completed the Path Forward Sign Up Form, you can click here to schedule your call.
